commerce, and Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunnels
Commercial
Firewall hardware/software (Raptor Eagle NT, Ascend SecureAccess,
Cisco PIX, and DEC AltaVista Firewall)
Experience
with Internet and intranet telecommunications connectivity with
T1, ISDN and Frame Relay. This includes expertise in the specification,
procurement, and configuration of routers, FRADs, CSU/DSUs, modems,
and terminal adapters
Experience
in ongoing facility management and support for WANs including
expertise with the following:
LAN/WAN
management/support tools such as Hewlett Packards OpenView,
Cisco View, and custom programming approaches
Sniffers/analyzers
and network simulation tools from leading vendors such as Network
General and Cisco
Implementation
and use of trouble ticket procedures and systems
